On the way to work this morning, I couldn't resist pulling over and snapping a few shots of this beautiful scene in Fall City off the side of the road. The sun was just burning through the fog in the pasture... And can I say that I LOVE Windows Live Photo Gallery's photo stitching tool. It literally took about two minutes to stitch three photos together and crop the edges to create this panarama!

Fall City Morning

That's beautiful! Did you take photography classes? How did you do the light painting thing anyway? That looks really cool.
Thanks, Sarah. Nope - no classes, just experimenting and practice. I've got a long way to go still and just barely got a camera that's beyond my skill level, so working to catch up.
To light paint, you simply turn off all the lights and hold your shutter open for a period of time (mine was 10 seconds, I think, for the ones below) and then "paint" with a flashlight wherever you want the light lines to appear. I'm sure if you look up "light painting" on one of the photo sites, you could find a lot more creative examples. ;)
